Lucas glanced away, furious with himself for screwing up, yet again. He didn't even bother watching her leave. When she was out of earshot, he threw his staff onto the ground.
"D*mmit! What's wrong with me?!"

Cylvia walked into her dorm and set her cat down, feeding it and setting out things. Then she climbed into bed and slept the rest if the day.

Lucas set a few things on fire, but he managed to douse them before things got too serious. Other than that, it was a normal 'I-hate-myself' temper tantrum. xD

Lucas took a deep breath and picked up his staff. He straightened himself out and tried to casually walk back in. He was stopped when a small blue kitten -- probably a few months old -- started mewing pitifully. He scooped it up and immediately thought of Cylvia. He decided to drop it off with her, since he wasn't a very good caretaker.

Lucas knocked first. Then again. Then again. No response. He turned the doorknob and heard a click. He slowly walked in, wondering if she was even home. He looked around, then stopped.
This feels so wrong. o.e She'll probably think I'm stealing cats AND spying on her. He decided to test his luck and ventured on looking for her.

She was curled up on her couch, looking very peaceful with an arm wrapped around her cat.

Lucas found her and immediately turned red. "Sh-She looks so beautiful," he whispered inaudibly. He took one step closer, then stopped himself.
I am not a pervert. I am not a pervert. I am not a pervert. I'm not going to stare at her while she's sleeping. ...Geez, that sounds weird. o.e

Suddenly, Lucas was woken up from his daze by a loud mewing coming from the kitten. I mean, it was LOUD. In a panic, he put the kitten down and fled out the door, completely forgetting that the kitten still had his staff clutched between its paws.
Crap! He kept running until he was halfway between her dorm and his. He bent down, panting. He though he was safe until...
"Wait. Where's my staff?"
